Berlin-based food brand Veganz has launched a D2C online store, which will allow consumers to directly order boxes of the company’s plant-based products.
The boxes contain a range of Veganz products, such as Medallions of soy, spread, seitan powder and Thnfsh (vegan tuna). Innovative new products such as vegan honey and scrambled eggs are also included.
When purchasing the boxes, consumers will save money compared to buying each product individually, which Veganz says is important due to the current cost of living crisis. On the occasion of the launch of the store, the brand will offer an advent calendar and a recipe box specially designed for a limited time.
Initial Public Offering
Last year, Veganz announced its IPO on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, with the intention of using the proceeds to establish a new production site and invest in research and development, marketing and expansion. Veganz products are now available in many countries around the world, from petrol stations in Germany to Drakes supermarkets in Australia. The company also continues to launch new products, such as its Caramel Peanut Chocolate Bar.
“Since 2019, food sales in e-commerce have almost doubled from 1.6 billion euros to 3.9 billion,” said Jan Bredack, founder and CEO of Veganz Group AG. “We are delighted that with the new D2C sales channel, we can use our strong brand and high awareness to provide our target group with quick and easy access to our products via social media platforms.”
