Lucky Take 5 player buys winning ticket at Bayside convenience store – QNS.com

A first-prize winning lottery ticket was sold Friday at a Bayside convenience store.

The lucky person purchased the $15,201.50 ticket from Bayside Smoke & Lotto Inc., located at 41-05 Bell Blvd. The winning numbers were announced in the Take 5 noon draw that afternoon.

This is the third time since February that a winning Take 5 ticket has been purchased in Queens. It was announced that more winning tickets were sold in Astoria February 3 and Rinsing February 19.

Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of 1-39, with the draw televised daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Participants in the noon and evening draws on their ticket should verify their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov. Lottery draw game prizes of any amount can be claimed up to one year after the draw date.
