Halo Infinite Multiplayer has received new events and price changes in store, but its Twitch viewership continues to drop.
Halo Infinite Multiplayer has been around for over two months now. Since the launch of this free title, many gamers have praised the game in some ways.
However, there was a lot of criticism over some of the game’s weak points. Players complained about multiple issues with game mechanics, cheats, store prices, and other issues.
343 Industries resolved many of these situations quickly. But not all concerns followed this path to rapid resolution.
Some issues like Big Team Battle remain, with the BTB being lower than it has ever run. All of these ongoing issues seem to have affected Halo Infinites Twitch viewership.
Halo Infinite’s Twitch Viewership Continues to Decline Despite Developer Efforts
According to data from StreamCharts, Halo Infinite viewership on Twitch has grown from an average of 26,136 in December 2021 to 9,636 in January 2022.
In addition to this drop in viewership, as of December 2021, an average of 1,402 channels were streaming Halo Infinite content. By comparison, an average of 756 channels are streaming the game in January 2022 every day.
343 Industries promoted limited-time events and even lowered store prices.
However, according to data from contraction tracker, Viewership for Halo Infinite continued to drop 6% this week after in-store prices dropped, unlike the same days the previous week.
As well, Steam player counts continued to drop despite ongoing Cyber Showdown event.
The shrink rate seems to be slowing down, which is great news for the game. Also, a few days isn’t entirely indicative of long-term results when it comes to strategies like price shrinking.
One thing is for sure, even though the watch time and viewership on Twitch is still down for Halo Infinite, the rate at which it is dropping is slowing down. This is nothing compared to the striking contrast between December and January.

Numerous technical issues and hacker interventions have plagued Halo Infinite. Players continue to experience and complain about desync issues.
In addition to this, some recent server and matchmaking issues resulted in innocent players being banned.
BTB is still a problem, despite 343 Industries’ attempts to fix connectivity issues.
Even when the players love new events like Cyber Showdown, feedback is always provided to bring events up to the desired level of quality.
Players recently said that the developer should separate Cyber Showdown events from Battle Pass.
