Harbor Freight Tools, America’s go-to store for quality tools at the lowest prices, has announced the opening of a new store in Augusta. The new store will be located at 10 Whitten Road and is expected to open this fall. An official date will be announced closer to the opening, according to a press release from the Calabasa, Calif.-based company.
Construction has already begun on the site, using local workers and businesses from the surrounding Augusta area.
“We have been looking to open another location in Augusta for several years, so that we can provide the tools and equipment at exceptional values to the community,” said Trey Feiler, Senior Vice President, Real Estate and Construction for Harbor Freight. Tools. “In addition to finding a great location, we were attracted by the availability of great associates in the Augusta area, and we look forward to having them join the Harbor Freight team.”
The store is expected to create between 25 and 30 new jobs in the community, including sales and logistics supervisors, senior associates, sales associates and seasonal opportunities.
